Jaipur Package Tour

Jaipur is our favorite on this Golden Triangle tour. It’s crazy, but it’s got something that draws you in. There’s cars, people, dogs, cows, monkeys, camels and horses all trying to fit in. It’s amazing and the energy is awesome.

The architectural wonders of Jaipur are the real highlight of the city, and there’s plenty of culture to explore too. We suggest spending 2-3 nights there to make sure you don’t miss any must-see attractions. Here are some of the top sights we suggest seeing on your Golden Triangle India Itinerary.

Itinerary

The Amber Palace is an incredible world heritage site, with a rich history as the extravagant home of Rajput Maharajas. The sandstone and marble structure of the palace is breathtaking and should not be missed when visiting Jaipur. It's easy to see why this is one of the highlights of the city - it's stunning. The style has been changed to be more casual. You'll get awesome views of the city from Amer Fort, plus it gives you that serenity that's difficult to find in India.

Nahargarh, which means 'tiger', was once a part of the wall that surrounded the old town. Going up the hills, you get a gorgeous view of the city. Experience some of the most stunning sunsets on our travels in India, and Nahargarh Fort was no exception. Surprisingly, the pollution in Jaipur actually contributed to a really beautiful sunset. The sun seemed surreal and misty as it faded away, leaving behind an orange and pink sky.

If you're looking for something special, check out Jaipur, the 'Pink City'. It's known for its trademark terracotta architecture that dominates the old city. New developments all have to stick to the same color scheme - pretty wild, right? And there are some really impressive structures here too, like the City Palace and Hawa Mahal. Even the bazaars are great. So why not take a walking adventure and explore this playground? You never know what you'll find!

Galta Ji, also known as Monkey Temple, is one of our favorite temples in India. It's a Hindu place of worship and is home to thousands of cheeky macaques. The location of the temple is amazing - it's in the middle of a mountain pass and its seven holy baths are filled with natural springs. It's such a great experience - mysterious and powerful - just how a pilgrimage should be. Rather than getting there early to beat the crowds, we liked seeing the spiritual ceremonies in the temple later in the day.
