Itinerary

Day 1 :
London

Guests participating in the 'Mumbai to Mumbai Tour' should report to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai at the scheduled departure time. They will then proceed to London, the capital city of England and the United Kingdom, which is situated on the banks of the River Thames. London is widely considered to be the most visited and powerful global city. Upon arrival in the afternoon, the Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests through airport formalities and escort them to the city.

At present, we take in the panoramic views of the city from the London Eye, which is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel.

Day 2 :
London

Today we're going to explore London and check out some of its landmarks. We'll visit the Tower of London Museum, where we can see St Edward's Crown, The Imperial State Crown, and the Koh-I-Noor Diamond. Later, we'll head to Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the River Thames, Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace. There, we'll see the Changing of the Guard ceremony, and then we'll finish up with a visit to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, where we can take photos with life-size wax figures of famous people.

Drive through Oxfordshire countryside to Stratford-upon-Avon, a medieval market town in England's West Midlands, and visit the birthplace of William Shakespeare, the famous playwright.
Explore York's Viking history on a walking tour that passes landmarks like city walls and Peter gate, and includes a visit to The Shambles.

We will be taking a delightful drive through the Yorkshire Dales National Park today to reach Lake District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular holiday destination renowned for its breathtaking forests, majestic mountains, and serene lakes, as well as its association with the great poet William Wordsworth's Daffodils poem, which was inspired by his stroll through the woods of Lake District.

We head to the shores of Lake Windermere and enjoy a pleasant cruise. Afterwards, we make our way to Edinburgh, where we are treated to the city's elegant Georgian New Town, beautiful gardens, and neoclassical architecture. Upon our arrival, we take a tour of the city and visit such iconic landmarks as Princes Street, the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, Arthur's Seat, and the new Scottish Parliament.

Today, we shall be visiting Edinburgh Castle, a historic fortress that played a pivotal role in Scottish history, both as a royal residence and as a military stronghold. After that, we shall proceed to Newcastle. Upon arrival, we shall be visiting Quayside and embarking on an overnight cruise from Newcastle to the port of Ijmuiden, Amsterdam - the capital city of the Netherlands with more canals than roads, also known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system, and narrow houses.

Explore miniature models and replicas of Dutch landmarks at Holland's Madurodam or visit Keukenhof tulip gardens, known as the most beautiful spring garden in the world.

Enjoy photographic opportunities at various flower exhibitions, statues, pavilions, idyllic ponds, and fields. Then, we will visit Holland's renowned windmills, followed by a canal cruise through Amsterdam's waterways, offering breathtaking views of centuries-old architecture, charming homes, and beautiful landmarks.

Today we will be heading to Brussels, the capital city of Belgium. Upon our arrival, we will be exploring the city and taking in some of its most famous landmarks such as the Grand Place, the Town Hall, the Guild Houses, the Monument of Everard Serclaes, and the well-known Manneken Pis Statue - a small bronze statue of a little peeing boy.
Next, we will stop for a photo opportunity at Atomium, a structure originally constructed for the first post-war universal world exhibition (EXPO 58) to represent faith in nuclear power. In the afternoon, we will continue on to Paris, a city widely recognized for its contributions to the fashion industry.

Day 8 :
Paris

Paris is a city full of wonders and today, we are exploring some of its most iconic landmarks. We started our journey by admiring the breathtaking view of the city from the top level of the Eiffel Tower. Later on, we will be visiting Champs Elysees, considered to be the most famous avenue in the world. The name Champs-Elysées means ‘Elysian Fields’, which refers to the Greek mythological paradise. We will also be seeing Place de la Concorde, one of the major public squares in Paris, which has a rich historical significance dating back to the French Revolution. Our last stop for the day will be L’Arc De Triomphe, one of the most famous monuments in Paris.

We shall be proceeding to Geneva today, which is colloquially known as the 'Capital of Peace'. It is renowned for being the headquarters of the Red Cross and the European seat of the United Nations. Upon reaching there, we plan to explore Geneva city and witness the Jet D'eau fountain, a 140-meter-high water fountain that also happens to be the official logo for Geneva's hosting of the 2008 UEFA Championships. Additionally, we will visit Geneva Lake, which happens to be Switzerland’s largest lake.
Flower Clock is a large working clock made of flowers that changes with the seasons. The UN Building in Geneva serves as the European headquarters of the United Nations, with the other headquarters located in New York. Broken Chair is a monumental sculpture in wood created by the Swiss artist Daniel Berset. The Red Cross building in Geneva serves as the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The WHO Building in Geneva serves as the headquarters of the World Health Organization

Today we will be embarking on a scenic drive through the Black Forest region, a mountainous area in Germany that is known for its dense evergreen forests and picturesque villages. During our journey, we will be visiting the Cuckoo Clock Factory at Titisee. After enjoying the sights of the Black Forest, we will continue our journey to Schaffhausen (Neuhausen), where we will see the Rhine Falls, the most powerful waterfall in Europe. We will be taking a boat ride for a spectacular view of the falls.

We will travel to Lucerne in the evening, which is a gorgeous city located in the heart of Switzerland

Today, we will be proceeding to the charming town of Engelberg, which is the largest winter and summer holiday destination. From there, we will embark on a half-day excursion to Mt Titlis, Central Switzerland's highest peak. We will take the 'Titlis Rotair', which is the world's first cable car with revolving gondolas, to reach the summit station, where we will be able to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. Upon reaching the summit, we will visit the Ice Grotto, and enjoy an exhilarating Ice Flyer ride and a thrilling Snow sliding experience.

Afternoon activities include a tour of Lucerne city. The first stop is at the Lion Monument, which honors the Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution. We will also visit the Kappelbrucke Wooden Bridge, the oldest covered wooden bridge in the world that spans the River Reuss. The evening will be spent enjoying a Lake Lucerne Cruise.

Today, we will be taking a full day excursion to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. We will begin by heading to Grindelwald, where we will board the Eiger Express - the most modern tricable gondola in the world. The ride up to the Eiger Glacier station takes just 15 minutes. From there, we will take a cogwheel train and enjoy the stunning views of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau along the way. Finally, we will reach Europe's highest railway station, which is situated at an elevation of 3,454 meters (11,332 ft).

Upon our arrival, we are treated to breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, ice sculptures, the Ice Palace, and Sphinx Terrace. Later in the day, we will explore Interlaken City, a traditional resort town located in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. It is situated on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz

Today we will travel to Vaduz, the capital of the principality of Liechtenstein, which is Europe's fourth-smallest country. On the way, we will pass by Zurich Lake, the focal point of Zurich and a favorite spot for tourists and locals. The entire lakeside is lined with promenades and parks, where local residents enjoy sunbathing, jogging, picnicking, and swimming in the lake. Upon our arrival in Vaduz, we will take a City Tram ride, which will take us through the historical part of the old city.

Upon our arrival in Munich, we shall proceed to explore the city, beginning with a visit to Hofbräuhaus, the oldest beer house in the city, founded in 1589 by the Duke of Bavaria. From there, we shall make our way to Marienplatz, the center of Munich city since the 12th century, where we shall see the iconic Rathaus-Glockenspiel, the world's most extravagant clock. Throughout our visit to Munich, we shall be sure to take in the city's many other notable sights and attractions.

Today we're heading to the beautiful baroque city of Salzburg, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a place of great cultural significance. We'll start our tour by taking a leisurely walk through the city, where we'll see some of its most impressive sights. We'll visit the famous Salzburg Cathedral, which is renowned for its early baroque art and its stunning architecture. We'll also take a look at the Residenz Fountain, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful fountains in Salzburg. Finally, we'll walk across the Love lock bridge over Salzach river, which is a romantic symbol of eternal love.

Couples engrave their names or initials on padlocks, which are subsequently thrown into the river. Getreide Gasse, a bustling commercial street in Salzburg's historic old town, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. The birthplace of Mozart, number 9 on this street, is also a noteworthy attraction. Linzer Gasse, another lovely street with numerous restaurants, hostels, and old shops selling handicrafts, is also worth a visit.

We will be visiting Mirabell Gardens later, which is a horticultural masterpiece and a famous shooting location from the Hollywood musical 'The Sound of Music'. After that, we will be heading to the Swarovski Crystal World and Museum at Wattens. Our last destination is Innsbruck, which is known for being one of Europe's most picturesque Old Towns surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

One can explore the city of Innsbruck upon arrival. The bridge over Inns River and Golden Roof, Innsbruck's most renowned landmark, shine in the heart of the historic old town. The splendid alcove balcony, adorned with 2,657 fire-gilded copper tiles, is a sight to behold. Maria Theresien Strasse, named after Empress Maria Theresia and dating back to the 13th century, is one of the busiest streets in the city today.

Today, we will have the pleasure of visiting Venice - a city that is situated on over 100 small islands in the Adriatic Sea. Our adventure will begin with a Vaporetto water bus ride to Venice Island, followed by a gondola ride through the world-famous canals of Venice. Our final destination is a glass blowing factory, where we will have the opportunity to witness a talented artisan transform molten glass into unique works of art.

Later, we shall take a stroll through Venice, where we shall see the Bridge of Sighs - an enclosed limestone bridge in baroque style which passes over the Rio di Palazzo, and connects the New Prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell Tower, St. Mark's Square, and St Mark's Basilica.

Visiting Modena and Pisa - Italian cities known for their car manufacturing facilities and iconic Leaning Tower.
Upon arrival, we explore Pisa and see the Square of Miracles, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a center of medieval art. This architectural complex is dominated by four religious edifices: the Pisa Baptistry, Cathedral, Leaning Tower, and Monumental Cemetery.

Pisa has three famous landmarks, the Baptistery, Pisa Cathedral, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The user wants the input to be shorter.

Looking to explore Florence and its Renaissance roots? Head to Piazzale Michelangelo Point in the afternoon for a beautiful panoramic view of the city and the Statue of David - Michelangelo’s famed Renaissance-era marble sculpture depicting the Biblical hero David. Then, in the evening, take a trip to Arezzo, a city in eastern Tuscany.

Today, we will embark on a journey to San Marino, the oldest sovereign state in the world, dating back to the fourth century AD. Upon arrival, we will take a stroll through the Piazza della Libertà, which is the main square of San Marino. We will then take a moment to capture a photo of the Basilica of St. Marino, an architectural masterpiece. Later on, we will visit Guaita, which is one of three peaks that offer a stunning view of the city of San Marino. In the afternoon, we will proceed to Rome, the capital of Italy, and one of the oldest cities in the world.

Day 18 :

Join us today for a half-day excursion to Vatican City, the world's smallest country and the residence of the Pope, also commonly referred to as the Holy See. Our first stop will be the Vatican Museum, where we will view Michelangelo's Frescoes, the Last Judgment, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica, an Italian Renaissance church and an important pilgrimage site, which is the largest church in the world. Later, we will return to Rome.

Upon our arrival, we drove through the amazing historical sights of Rome. Along the way, we see the Tiber River, which is the third longest river in Italy, the Roman Forum - a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome, Circus Maximus - an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue, Piazza Venezia - the central hub of Rome, and the Colosseum - also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre.
